Lamborghini Recall Check by VIN: Urus, Huracan, Revuelto Campaigns

You check a Lamborghini for recalls by entering its VIN on NHTSA's recall lookup, then asking a Lamborghini dealer to confirm completion, because Lamborghini recall repairs are done by its dealers. For a used Urus, the campaign to look for first is 25V903000, a rearview camera software fix covering 2019 to 2024 trucks; for a Huracan, it is 23V826000, a headlight software update covering 2015 to 2024 cars.

We ran NHTSA's recalls API for every Lamborghini model and year we could find on October 15, 2026, from the Murcielago and Gallardo through the Revuelto, and turned up about 30 campaigns. That is not a scary number for a brand that sells this few cars, though a lot of them are recent. Eight were filed in 2024 or later, and several of those affect cars that are still under three years old, which is exactly the age range where people assume nothing can be open yet.

Running the VIN

Start with the 17 characters on the windshield plate and match them to the door jamb and title. If you want to confirm the model and plant first, our Lamborghini VIN decoder walks through the layout. Then run the VIN on NHTSA, and use our NHTSA recall check by VIN page if the status labels confuse you. To see campaigns before you have a VIN, the NHTSA recalls API for the 2023 Urus shows the format, and you can change the model and year in the address.

Urus campaigns

The Urus has the busiest file, which makes sense since it sells in the biggest numbers. Here is what NHTSA returned:

  • 20V713000, 2019-2020: engine bay heat can damage a fuel line quick connector and cause a leak.
  • 21V336000 and 21V603000, 2021: cracks can develop on the cylinder bore surface, and the middle rear seat belt's automatic locking retractor can switch off early, which can keep a child seat from being held properly.
  • 22V804000, 2022: infotainment damage can leave the rearview camera display dead.
  • 24V348000, 2023-2024 Urus Performante and Urus S: the hood latch striker can separate, so the hood may open or come off while driving. According to the NHTSA acknowledgment for 24V-348, dealers inspect the hood and add a striker support plate if needed.
  • 25V633000, 2025: fasteners on the high pressure fuel pump may not be tight, causing a fuel leak.
  • 25V903000, 2019-2024: a software error can blank the rearview camera image. Owner letters went out July 9, 2026, so a lot of these are probably still open as of this month.

Huracan, Aventador and Revuelto

On the Huracan, 23V826000 covers 2015 to 2024 cars whose headlights may be aimed wrong, and the dealer fix switches off the Tourist Mode and adaptive front-lighting functions in software. Other Huracan campaigns include 21V466000, where the rearview camera on 2018 to 2021 cars may not display below 41 degrees F; 22V081000, missing caps on the low-beam adjustment screws on 2015 to 2020 cars; 22V220000, too little gearbox oil on 2020 to 2022 EVO and 2022 STO cars, which can cause clutch slip; 22V422000, a driver door handle that may not open from outside on 2022 EVO and STO; and 24V219000, high beams that may not come on in 2024 cars. The Aventador's big two are 17V073000, where gasoline can reach the hot exhaust on 2012 to 2017 cars with a full tank, and 18V391000, where the engine can stall during automatic downshifts below 2,000 rpm on 2012 to 2018 cars.

The Revuelto is new and already has four. 24V765000 covers a passenger wiper rod on the 2024 that can bend and separate from the motor. 24V945000 is a 2024 oil line flange whose screws may not be tight, a fire risk. 25V477000 says door gas springs on 2024 to 2025 cars can fail and let the doors drop. 26V053000 is another rearview camera software fix for 2024 to 2025. Honestly, the door spring one would make us nervous on a car with scissor doors, and it is the first thing we would ask a seller to prove.

The Volkswagen Group angle

Lamborghini belongs to the Volkswagen Group, and the VW Group brands page puts it in a "Brand Group Progressive" alongside Audi, Bentley and Ducati. Some hardware is shared. Car and Driver called the second-generation Audi R8 the Huracan's "twin sister," mechanically about as close as two cars get. That helps with parts availability and independent specialists. It does not mean an Audi recall covers your Lamborghini, or the reverse. NHTSA files Lamborghini campaigns under Automobili Lamborghini with their own numbers, so check the Lamborghini VIN, and if you also own an Audi, our Audi recall check by VIN page covers that side.

History before you buy

A clean recall screen says nothing about title brands, accidents, or rolled-back miles, and a low-mile Lamborghini that never visited a dealer can look perfect while carrying open campaigns. CARFAX says its reports pull title, odometer, accident and service records. As of mid October 2026, a CARFAX report through CarVins costs about $5.50 as a guest or $4.50 as a member, and a CARFAX plus AutoCheck bundle about $6.75, versus roughly $39.99 to $44.99 retail. Confirm at checkout. We are a licensed reseller, not affiliated with CARFAX, AutoCheck, or Experian. And if the seller only offers a PDF they ran themselves, assume it may have been edited and pull your own.
